We start the month of March with a bang, because today is the official launch of the VEDLIoT Open Call!
Following the successful closing of the first rounds of Open Calls by IntelIoT, IoT NGIN and Assist-IoT, it is now the turn for VEDLIoT, which aims to develop the next generation of connected IoT devices using distributed deep learning.
This open call is foreseen to explore new opportunities by extending the application of the VEDLIoT platform to a more extensive set of new and relevant use cases. This modular, scalable hardware platform for the next generation of AIoT devices (Artificial Intelligence of Things), covers the full spectrum from the cloud via near edge to far edge or embedded applications.
For this first funding opportunity, projects shall consider an indicative total budget of up to 120.000€, being the funding / reimbursement rate 70 % of the total costs declared, and it may be specially interesting for those organisations within automation, manufacturing, transportation, automotive, wearables, agriculture, smart homes, health, or energy sectors.
